River Behm House Rules

 

General Rules

Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in time is 2 PM, and check-out time is 10 AM. Please adhere to these times to allow for proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

Occupancy: The maximum occupancy is 8 people. Please do not exceed this limit. Children over 2 years of age counts as a person.

The tap water is taken from the river and is safe for washing up and showering, but not for drinking. Please make sure you bring enough drinking water with you for the duration of your stay.

 

Pets

Pets: Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

Pet Care: Pets must be kept off the furniture and beds. Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly.

Supervision: Do not leave pets unattended inside the house or running around outside without supervision.

 

Water Equipment

Kayaks and Equipment: Kayaks and other water equipment are available for use. Please handle them with care and return them to their designated storage area after use.

Safety: Always wear life jackets when using the kayaks or engaging in water activities. Use the equipment at your own risk.

 

House Maintenance

Cleanliness: Please keep the house clean and tidy.

Trash Removal: There is no refuse removal service at the property. Guests must take all trash home with them upon departure. There is a compost bin under the milkwood tree. It is foe WET WASTE only. It there to lessen the amount of trash you need o take home

Furniture and Appliances: Do not move furniture or appliances. If any items are damaged or broken, please inform us immediately.

The boats in the kitchen above the cupboards are not toys and are not to be taken down and played with.

 

Noise and Behavior

Noise Levels: Please respect the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10 PM and 8 AM.

Parties: No parties or events are allowed without prior approval.

 

Smoking

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the house. If you smoke outside, please dispose of cigarette butts properly.

 

Safety and Security

Doors and Windows: Always lock doors and windows when leaving the house and at night.

Fire Safety: Do not leave candles, fireplaces, or any open flames unattended. Ensure all fires are completely extinguished before leaving or going to bed.

 

Departure

Check-Out Procedure: Before checking out, please:

Remove all trash and take it with you – there is no municipal waste removal at River Behm.

Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
